I'm a recent graduate from essentially the #1 technical university in the U.S., with degrees in math and computer science. I've interned/worked in a number of different industries and ended up in quant finance. I interviewed with a large number of firms (D.E. Shaw, Jane Street, Two Sigma, Five Rings, Citadel, Hudson River Trading, etc.) for different roles and had several offers, with close-to-maximal compensation packages.
